Since Lorrie Moore's first short story collection Self Help debuted in in 1985, the award-winning writer has been raising the bar of American fiction with her humorous and challenging short stories and novels. In Bark, her first collection in 15 years, Moore continues her keen observations about the absurdities of American life, crafting them into revealing and finely tuned stories full of love, sorrow, and truths about the American condition. Moore will be in conversation with Carmela Ciuraru, critic and author of Nom de Plume.
